Latest update broke the ability to favorite trips There should also be an offline mode for when connectivity is down perhaps with a warning for when schedules were last updated        Cant save favorite trips
I use this app everyday Late trains are accurately noted etc Favorite feature not so great              Easy and quick
Im very pleased with the App however Ive been having trouble to save my favorite trips since the SAVE button seems to be disabled Please fix           Just one small issue
This app is great                 Director
There should be an option to easily email or text someone specific train info so I can get picked up at my station Would make this app better           Suggestion for improvement
It doesnt have west of the Hudson River Port Jervis Line to Penn Station in the app That is a major rail line for the MetroNorth Rail Till it gets that added I have to give two stars        Good app but missing something
It does not show so many trips out of Grand Central terminal during the afternoon peak hour Very slow and reliable app     Misses trips
Great app Friendly look I would suggest making a feature allowing the user to see trains that have past and train progress For instance if your on the train this way you can track your progress The feature could also darken the stops that have passed or something like that Good app but needs to be tweaked           Needed improvements
Why bother with an update you dont test Can you save more that 4 favorites Nope Why bother issuing a monthly on time stat when there is a 6 minute adjustment     Why bother
App is useless Half the time when I open it I just get stuck with a loading screen when I try to pull up train times the entire point of the app     PoS doesnt update
Simple and effective                 Ideal
The site cannot provide consistent train or track information     Doesnt work
This app is not worth downloading It has frozen on me on several occasions and takes way to long to load     Do not download
When it works its awesome but the app crashes too often where it just doesnt load the schedule Please fix that        Crashes all the time
its really astounding how bad this app is if it didnt come from the MTA it wouldnt last a month in the store embark transit apps are vastly better designed and while not updated for some time now are still perfectly functional     just so very bad
Times hardly ever load anymore no idea why When you search a station you have to scroll through the list manually even though it shows you an alphabetical list on the side like your contacts touching it does nothing no quick way to jump to a different part of the list And the auto refresh every few seconds sends you back to the top of the list even if youre trying to scroll down to see other times For such a simple concept that others seem to do without problem it makes you wonder why they cant get it right        Ok app needs a lot of work
Never loads Ever I cant explain how bad this app is Try it for yourself if you want to test your patience and lose control     Horrible
Developers did a good job making the material design of this app match the clean interface of iOS8 This app looks good to the eye and is easily navigational Nice favorites feature for frequent schedules                 Very clean and very simple
Horrible update that made the app worse and almost useless for me     Cant save favorite trips
I am not a fan of this update I cannot save new trips to my favorites Please fix     Not pleased
Only lists trip departure time and duration Including arrival time would be much more helpful        Makes me do math I dont want to do
Ive been using this app for a while and a few days ago I was deleting the saved trips that I dont use anymore it deleted the ones I use somehow and now I cant add them back which makes this app totally useless And yeah as a lot of people mentioned no real time scheduling     Cant save favorite trips
This app help me out so much on my first time taking a train Is easy to use and tells me exactly what I want to know when I need it                 Good app
This app requires you to click your home commute pair and then shows the trains On time shows your train time without the extra clicking as well as how man minutes until your train comes On time also knows by the time of day to reverse your favorite commute This app is not nearly as good     Train time not really as good as On Time
Most of the time I want to heck train times as Im coming into GC on the subway This app cant do that     Does not work offline
Frequent problems very slow Can only Dave 3 favorite trips not as user friendly as it should be Very disappointing     Unstable
Straightforward fast and efficient app big evolution over CooCoo For people whining about specific flaws and needs you probably need a butler or valet to help manage your life this app finds your trains scheduled departure arrival track no from GCT and notifications if there is a delayboom thats it Mission accomplished                 Handy app
Confusing infuriating UI incredibly slow no offline usage Its absurd that an app meant to be used by NYC commuters who are frequently commuting partly via subway doesnt work offline Even when one is online the app is incredibly slow to retrieve data Its like the developers never heard of caching The list of trains has a superfrustrating bug wherein if I scroll down then a second later the list jumps back to the top How does that get past QA        Awful
I take the Danbury Line everyday for work and it works great for me almost instant updates on track changes and traintimes                 It works great
App constantly hangs while trying to retrieve train times Keep a paper schedule handy     Terrible
Please add support for Watch              Good but could easily be great
After reading some of the reviews I thought how bad could this app be First off Id like to thank the MTA for continually raising the fares to the point that driving even with gas at 24 a gallon is actually cheaper than taking mass transit Secondly and this is another thank you to the MTA thank you for 20 years of upgrades only to have equipment fail on a near daily basis Thirdly and on point its not as unbelievable as it may seem that the MTA failed at creating an app that 1 is constantly updated to make it better and improve its quality 2 Is slower than the A train at peak hours side bar why is the local E train faster than the express A 3 I look forward to the next fare hike only to receive less than mediocre service both on the train and with this terrible app Congratulations MTA     Horrific
Ive been using this app since it came out but the Apr 4 2015 update removed autorefresh for some unknown reason Everybody knows that looking up the train status at your own station is fruitless because if a train is late MNR doesnt make that notice until its already five minutes late I couldnt care less by that point Im already standing at the platform by then Instead I used to pull up the status for the station before mine and could sit in my car or home if youre close enough and wait until the status there changed to Departed It was nearly perfect because that left the right amount of time to walk up to the platform regardless of how late or on time the train was But now without autorefresh Im left hitting the refresh button over and over repeatedly until the status changes I get that this is pretty petty but seriously the app used to do it why have you taken functionality away from an otherwise useful app           No more autorefresh
This app is reliable gives me all necessary information on trains and tells me service alerts                 Useful
Its a terrible UI and very clunky but its semireliable in terms of the timing Lack of offline timetables makes it useless to any commuter who uses the subway One would think adding offline would be easier than wiring all of the stations but the MTA seems to be going the other way on us        Offline
It tells you the schedule which its supposed to do and has the connecting trains too unlike onTime However whenever you look at the schedule and you scroll down the thing resets back to the first time frame you requested Its extremely annoying when trying to look at all the possible trips for one day        ONeeds an update
Lots to be desired I used to be able to add favorites Now I can not It needs to be fixed     Cant add favorites
The transit authority has made some real changes to the system over the last few years This app is not one of them at least not yet Its as if someone created a mockup of what a train time app should look like but never finished it before releasing it to the public Train times are available but only in a short window and even then inaccurate The AZ search bar is not a search bar but simply a picture meant to look like something that works You also cannot search past trains to figure out say what time the train youre on is slated to arrive Until this mess is fixed just continue using their website for train times     A barelyworking prototype
Not accurate and difficult to navigate Stick with Coocoo and OnTime Why would we expect a good app considering how they run the RR     A poor start
I take the train to visit friends in the city Mostly offpeak and I usually get to the station earlier than I need to I use the app to look up when I can catch the next train Its easy to navigate the app              Works for me
The most recent update of March 31 is riddled with bugs Attempting to reorder saved routes actually deletes them and trying to resave the existing routes is impossible as the Save button is disabled Seriously do you guys have a QA team Was this tested at all     Do NOT install this update
I hate knowing our jacked up train fairs likely helped pay for this junk Back to OnTime     Almost useless
Consistency is important and MetroNorth has created an app that is exactly on par with their terrible rail service     Consistent
In addition to other complaints here the app is named Train Time but does not offer real time data for individual stations like their website of the same name Back to the website for me        Doesnt provide real time station info
Added some nice ability to sort trips Basic but much worth                 Update
The app seems to work ok but from a user design perspective it is seriously lacking I dont think the developers watched anybody use it Makes you reenter the same data over and over again Cant plan future trips very easily Hope it didnt cost to much to develop Look for another app or use your car        Not well thought out
This app needs a serious update to fix bugs I cant save favorite trips no matter if Im on wifi or network I cant add new trips either the save button just doesnt work when all the other buttons on the page do Im going back to the other metro north app     Needs an update
The app should have its size correct for the iPhone 6        iPhone 6 app scale
Info is good but usability is quite poor OnTime is much more user friendly Using this app is frustrating        Cumbersome
Way worse than previous version now it only works when you have an Internet connection duhvery useful when you have no service at Grand Central Missing the countdown feature too        Ugh
