Over the past 25 years I have concentrated on my food and exercise The result has been a sustained 45lb loss I have used LoseIt throughout and love the simplicity of knowing how many calories I have eaten but most importantly the mix of fats carbs and proteins for the day I also enjoy the connectivity with my FitBit Nike Run and other apps I recommend this app a lot to others who are thinking of seriously moving toward better health                 Love this app

Ive tried several websites and apps to track food and exercise but this one finally meets my expectations You can scan barcodes and the database of searchable foods is quite extensive You can also log exercise and track your weight My only improvement comment is to add more exercises but this is common in this kind of appsite I mean seriously cross training workouts like crossfit still arent big enough to have their own entry Overall I give the app 45 stars for ease of use and fit for purpose application Ive lost 10 pounds with Lose It                 Finally easy logging

I concur with the many extremely favorable reviews First and foremost this application allows you to set your own caloric intake to use as a guide to make your own diet plan Second when you exercise you gain in two ways First you become healthier and second your caloric intake on this app goes down So lets say you exceeded your caloric intake for the day or you think you will complete in most instances 3060 minutes of exercise and you have reduced your caloric intake and this app figures it out for you You could also scan your goods in using a bar code I highly recommend this application Far better than using Weight Watchers South Beach or any other diet plan Here you create it and you decide what to eat and when to eat it                 Excellent Application

I made a decision to lose weight and after downloading the app and setting an attainable goal I committed to logging all of my food which I have done every meal now for 6 months The scanning feature of a bar code has sped up the process and by forcing me to look at the nutritional info I am now making better decisions This has essentially made a game out weight loss I am down 71 lbs as of today My recommendation is to set a small goal reach it and set a new weight loss goal Little victories pave the road to longer success I also just use the free version and get all of these benefits                 Great app to educate and force habits

Been using it for three months Im down 28 lbs It does a lot more than just track calories but the calorie tracker is great If recommend it to anyone searching for this type of app                 This app really helps
The app is simple and rudimentary and on its surface it appears to be a convenient way to track calories Unfortunately however its food database is woefully inaccurate For example I have found that the caloriesnutrients for scanned foods that is foods you input by scanning the UPC code are inaccurate at least 90 of the time So often is this the case that I no longer trust the app and simply enter the information manually which defeats one of the main purposes of using the app convenience Despite this I suppose the app still has an advantage over pen and paper for tallying calories if you keep in mind that reliable calorie counts must come from you alone but I certainly wouldnt spend the money to update to their Premium service if LoseIt cant even nail down the quality and accuracy of the free app Come on folks Spend a little less on reposting old blogs and a little more on tidying up your content     Woefully Inaccurate

I have found this to be the easiest tracking app I love the extensive list of foods with available calories and nutritional content as well as the variety of ways that you can measure the food It is great that it saves your foods for quick access when listing a meal I think the only thing that I think would make it better is to have a more comprehensive exercise list                 Great quick tracking
