LG TV Remote-webOS

Could be a recent SmartTv update Hope its fixed soon     Stopped working as of today

I have never had an app work as poorly as this app Worked fine before the update Now it is pure garbage and will be deleted I will not provide my email or access to my social media to control my TV Get real LG     Garbage

Very poor update Why do I need to create an account to use this remote I never had to before I WILL JUST USE THE REMOTE THAT CAME WITH THE TV GOODBYE     Need to create an account to use app

edit Down to 1 star from 2 Would give zero if I could Why the f do I need to create an account or give LG access to my social network TO CONTROL MY TV What do I get I havent even gotten past the bs login yet but there is no mention of any awesome killer features in the App Store description that would constitute even bothering As stated below horrible waste of an opportunity and even resources of a company original I have a 55 8500 The remote that came with it has very few buttons Its all onscreen based controls I also setup my Harmony to control the TV That has more functionality dedicated buttons So my question is what is the point of this app It adds zero functionality I want to control the settings of the TV within the app It would also be nice to browse the apps for the TV within the app on the phone to browse NetflixHulu on the phone while the TV continues to show the full program thats playing then when I find something else or the next show I can launch it from the phone The settings menu of this TV takes up half the screen but the text is so large menu paths are so deep and convoluted that an app would be a perfect opportunity to eliminate this menu atrocity Basically I want to use my touch screen app to change settings and choose what to watch on the TV not simply another device with basic controls     Zero Stars Whats the point wasted opportunity

Jams on start then error message says I need to reinstall the app     Cant even open it

Update LG must have updated the TVs firmware The app now connects fast every time It works just fine for my needs Thanks devs Old review The app works very well once it connects to the tv but thats the hard part getting it to connect and reconnect to the tv Come on devs Youre better than this                 Updated review Now it works just fine

Who wants to have to log in to use a TV remote Not me Previous versions of this app were useful Takin this sucker off my phone     Awful app

This app used to auto pair and work just fine Then LG tried to force you to make an account and all this garbage now it just sits on the pairing screen for an eternity If it isnt broken do t try and fix it LG     Used to work

The old version of this app worked great the new version barely works and on top of that you now have to create an account to sign in I have to sign in to use my remote come on LG Time to go to Sony     New Version is Awful

What is the point of a launcher if I cant type into the app I love my TV and this app could be simple and great if t just let me TYPE As it is its pointless and insulting     Utterly useless

After you use it for the first time the next time you open it you get TV pairing page The only way to fix it is download it again Edit There have been pairing issues raised online including comments made in your website Suggest you dont reason Fix Both ipad and iPhone lose connection     Good execution but major bugs

I am the owner of model 42lk551 I gave you a tribute when I bought the TV for your company I trusted you And now you cant support me Cant do the firmware with support for wifi modem I can buy a cheap wifi modem but I cant buy a new TV with webOS Why do you turn away from me Because my model is not that old 2011 I was disappointed in you I have been with you since gold star But most of you for me not a Star     42lk551

Absolute garbage after the last update it has splash screen that the messages you to sign up with your email in order to use your own remote control for the TV you purchased absolute BS     Screen goes blank dark

This app is primitive and looks like a 6 year old designed it Compared to the LG Smart TV app this one has a lot off room to make up The only thing I like about this app is that it works with my TV     Huh This is what I get for OLED TV

I had used the old version and it working extracly for me but when i using it on a time the app tell me reinstall the application so i had upgrage a new version this version and seem itt not working for me i have waited at the screen search device on 15 min Please lets me known     Its not working for LF631T

I open the app and all I get is a black screen     Doesnt work

Relatively responsive interface Slight lag in touchpad but great feature nevertheless Agree a must to upgrade with keyboard functionality Great alternative when remote is lost And its free folks Fact is we only use this app if weve temporarily lost our remote in which case thats indeed our own fault Thanks LG for what I know will soon be a great app           Some kinks buta work in progress

Latest update seems to be better compared to previous versions I was able to skip the login but contentswishlist options cannot be accessed until I login The Login processing is slow but luckily its just one time              So much better than last version

When I try to connect it asks for the pin I tried entering my tvs security pit but it says wrong pin number     Doesnt connect

This release does not run on iOS 6     Does not run with iOS6

The recent update may have modernized the look of the app but it is still far from a quality app The recent update is horrendously unresponsive and lags awfully What happened Whoever was put in charge in developing this app has missed the target ALL OVER Aesthetically user friendliness responsiveness fluidity it just BLOWS With the quality I receive in my LG webOS smart TV the app does not follow suit     Horrendous

Cant control 90 of the TV functions constantly crashes power button turns off but not back on LB6300     Junk

I was finally happy to see an update in the App Store Only to then see the layout somehow looks like a downgrade very pixilated images and way too cumbersome for navigationtho not impossible yet a remote should be very straight forward I wish I didnt update        Ehh

After this recent update I cant connect to my TV Very poor features and doesnt have miracast feature please work more on this application until make it useful     Poor and bad update
